St.George Orthodox Church, Areeparampu is a parish under the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. St.George is our patron saint of the parish. There are three 'Altars' in the church. The central one is dedicated to St.George our patron saint and the other two ‘Altars’ are dedicated to St.Mary and St.Gregorios of Parumala. The church stands as a light house for the surrounding areas, showering blessings to the devotees. There are about 115 families worshipping in
this church, experiencing the unseen presence and blessings of the patron saint St.George, who gives the real-time protection at the time of trouble and need and guard them in their day to day life.
Location : St.George Orthodox Church, Areeparampu is about 16 Km east of Kottayam town; 5 Km north of Pampady junction, in Kottayam - Madurai National Highway NH 220 and 5 Km east of Oravackal Junction in Kottayam - Pala road route.
